Birds Canada and the Society of Canadian Ornithologists are excited to announce the launch of The Roost, an online discussion forum for all things ornithology in Canada. The Roost is open to anyone with an interest in the research and conservation of Canada’s birds, and is meant to foster supportive discussion and collaboration. Discussion topics include data collection, data analysis, conservation applications, outreach, job/student/funding opportunities, and more. It is a place to share news and resources, ask questions, or initiate discussions about anything relevant to the ornithological community.
The Roost is a Discourse-based forum hosted by Birds Canada and the Society of Canadian Ornithologists. It can be accessed with a free Birds Canada account, the same one used to access other Birds Canada resources like NatureCounts and Motus. To explore The Roost, visit roost.birdscanada.org.
